Notre mission
La mission de YONETPO est de promouvoir l'éducation, la santé et l'autonomisation des jeunes par le développement des compétences et des capacités, le volontariat et le plaidoyer, réorientant ainsi les jeunes pour qu'ils deviennent des citoyens productifs, maintenant ainsi la paix et transformant notre société pour créer un changement positif.

 Advancing Liberia Security Sector Accountability and Public Trust Project (ASSAPT)- With funding from the U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Intl Narcotics & Law Enforcement (INL) through The Carter Center Liberia, YOUNETPO is raising awareness about the existing complaints and commendation mechanisms at LIS, LDEA & LNP and identify ways of citizens’ engagement in Montserrado & Nimba Counties. This project is helping to enhance citizens trust in law enforcement agencies. |  Ongoing Environmental awareness and distribution of Brochures, Posters and Facts Sheets on the Socio-economic linkages between sustainable land Management, climate change and biodiversity in Bong County on behalf of EPA. The Cross- Cutting Capacity Development Project (CCCD) is being implemented by the Environment Protection Agency - EPA in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and with funding from the Global Environmental Facility (gef) |  Advocating for budget allocation for Last Mile Drug Distribution YOUNETPO along with members of the CSOs Health Coalition held several engagement meetings with key stakeholders including but not limited to; the Minister of Health, the Ministry of Finance Development Planning, the house and senate committees on health to advocate for allocation of specific funds for Last Mile drug distribution within the 2024 national budget.Through this advocacy, the health budget was increase by $4.4m for 2024. |

 To contribute to the Global Fund’s shift from COVID-19 impact mitigation towards pandemic preparedness and response (PPR) and community and health systems readiness, the COPPER CE project is concentrating on building PPR capacity of communities and civil society to effectively engage in country-level processes and mechanisms related to pandemic preparedness and response (PPR) that ensures national PPR policies, strategies, and programs integrate health equity, human rights, and gender equality. |  USAID Liberia Civil Society Activity; Integration of Citizens Charters for Health Facility Development Committees - YOUNETPO is the lead for the CSA RFA 5 coalition and is implementing key community driven programmatic strategies and interventions aimed to increase citizens’ participation in community health decision-making and management of public health facilities in communities. The project is being implemented by YOUNETPO in Montserrado and Bong Counties. |  Funding from the Carter Center is supporting Youth Network for Positive Change (YOUNETPO) in economically empowering a women’s group to establish and register a waste management CBO, YOUNETPO is also conducting awareness-raising activities in three target markets in support of female involvement, engagement, and access to information about municipal services provided by the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC). |
 As part of our 2023 back-to-school initiative, we commence the distribution of Reading and Activity Books for Grade 1 and 2 to selected schools in Montserrado County. A total of 20 book bags were distributed to 20 high ranked students, 151 pieces of Reading and Activity Books for Grade 1 and 2 were distributed. Also, 270 pieces of visual learning materials including; the Map of Africa, Political Map of the World, animals’ recognition and clock for time telling were distributed. |  YOUNETPO is an implementing partner under the EpiC Project which is a global project funded by PEPFAR and USAID with FHI360 as prime partner. YOUNETPO is utilizing a human rights-based approach to holistically tackle stigma and discrimination affecting FSW to improve access to HIV/AIDS treatment, care and support. The aim of this grant is to support attainment and maintenance of epidemic control among KPs by delivering HIV prevention, care, and treatment services to FSW and their contacts. |  With funding from the UN Women Peace and Humanitarian Fund through Conciliation Resources, the Promoting Inclusive Justice for Diverse Women in Liberia’s War Crimes Court project YOUNETPO is advocating for the full and equitable inclusion and meaningful participation of diverse women in Liberia’s transitional justice process, particularly in the establishment and operations of the war crimes court. The project aims to amplify marginalized voices and safeguard rights. |
Équipe de direction
Youth Network for Positive Change a un conseil d'administration actif qui a des responsabilités de supervision directe sur le secrétariat dirigé par le directeur exécutif et l'équipe de direction (SMT) de quatre personnes qui dirigent les activités quotidiennes de l'organisation. Tout le personnel et les bénévoles (sensibles au genre) sont âgés de 18 à 35 ans, ce qui fait de l'organisation une institution dirigée à 100 % par des jeunes. YOUNETPO a également mis en place des politiques pour guider la mise en œuvre du programme (par exemple, ressources humaines, gestion financière, achats, etc.).
Programmes YOUNETPO et impact
Les programmes et projets de YOUNETPO ont bénéficié à plus de 10 000 jeunes âgés de 10 à 35 ans ; nous avons touché plus de dix (10) communautés dans les comtés de Montserrado, Margibi et Grand Bassa à travers les projets suivants :
Éducation - 68 écoles du comté de Montserrado ont bénéficié du Montserrado Bee Project, qui se concentre principalement sur l'amélioration des compétences de lecture, d'orthographe et de prononciation des élèves du primaire.
Santé - Plus de 1 000 filles ont été atteintes grâce à nos campagnes de plaidoyer pour les droits en matière de santé sexuelle et reproductive. Ceux-ci inclus; créer des campagnes de sensibilisation qui ont spécifiquement ciblé la sensibilisation au VIH/SIDA, à la grossesse chez les adolescentes, à la violence basée sur le genre dans les écoles et les communautés. Les méthodes de conduite des campagnes de plaidoyer incluent : réunion de salle, engagement entre pairs, etc.)
Bonne gouvernance - Youth Network for Positive Change a participé et dirigé des campagnes nationales de plaidoyer, notamment : pétitionner la législature nationale libérienne pour mettre en œuvre la Déclaration sur l'ouverture parlementaire (2019) et demander à la législature nationale libérienne de mener un audit sur tous les prêts contractés et les accords de subvention signés par le gouvernement du Libéria pour lutter contre la pandémie du virus Corona dans le pays (2020).
