Happy New year!
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their efforts throughout the year. The success of our YOUNETPO is built on the efforts and commitments from our donors, partners, board of directors, employees, contractors and volunteers. In this past year, we have enjoyed many successes. Thank you for the dedication, loyalty, commitment that each one of you has shown us.
We’ve come through a year that was filled with both challenges and victories. How reassuring it’s been to know that we can count on all of you regardless of what faces us. On behalf of YOUNETPO, please allow me to extend my personal and genuine appreciation to each and every donor for your valuable wavering support and contributions to this organization. Working with you this past year has been a pleasure and we’re proud to have you all with us.
Together we made important progress and accomplishments, to name a few:
1. We cannot underestimate your efforts to ensure that 150 market women within Montserrado County get empowered economically through the Inform Women Transform Live Campaign;
2. Our collective efforts have made an indelible mark in the lives of over 100 adolescent girls through from 10 schools within Montserrado County through the Empowering Girls for the Future Project;
3. Together we have led a well-coordinated efforts to ensure thousands within the commonwealth west health district got reached with HIV/AIDs care, prevent and treatment service across 9 health facilities;
4. Our voices were loud in the efforts to promote accountability and transparency within the governance sector. We advocated for the immediate resignation and dismissal of sectioned government officials, we spoke against Labor trafficking and demanded accountability at the National Election Commission;
2022 has been a wonderful year, as an organization, we have taken a much deeper reflection of the challenges and successes of the past which makes us well positioned and energized to climb the ladders on the walls of 2023.
