YOUNETPO hold HIV/TB/Malaria Consultative Dialogue in Buchanan City

YOUNETPO concluded a one-day CSOs Consultative Dialogue at K-Plaza Hotel in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County on February 17, 2023. The dialogue was conducted as part of activities under the CSO' Meaningful Engagement in Country Dialogue for Global Fund Cycle 2023-2026 that is being funded by the Global Fund through the Eastern Africa Network of Aids Service Organizations (EANNASO). Participants of the event included community members, representatives of KP-led organizations, AGYWs from the HIV/TB/Malaria constituencies. The dialogue serves as a platform for CSO's and community members to review the existing Global Fund New Funding Model 3 with specific focus on identifying gaps and challenges as well as identifying new priority areas for the Global Fund New Funding Model 4.


YOUNETPO Concludes TB Consultative Dialogue in Nimba County

With support from Africa Coalition on Tuberculosis (ACT), YOUNETPO concluded a one-day Hybrid Engagement between CSOs & Communities members from the TB constituents as part of the Global Fund New Funding Model 4 Processes. The event was held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Alvino Hotel in Gompa City, Nimba County. The dialogue brought together TB survivors, County Health Team (CHT) members and CSOs to identify gaps within the current TB programing within the current Global Fund New Funding Model 3 (NFM3) and to identify key new priorities for the Global Fund Funding Model 4 (NFM4). New priorities identified shall be proposed to form part of the country’s proposal in the upcoming Global Fund May grant application window.

YOUNETPO Acquired its Own Office Building

YOUNETPO has secured its own office building. The four bedroom property is situated on a half lot of land in Hope Community Cement Road, Thinker's Village Paynesville City, Montserrado County. This effort is part of the institution five years strategic plan (2023-2028) which seek to place YOUNETPO as a independent and sustainable civil society organization. Renovation works are currently undergoing and is expected to get completed in July 2023. Thanks to our Board of Directors, staff and volunteer for all the support and commitment towards this project. (The above figure show the current status of the building and proposed building after renovation).


CSO Budget Platform Activity

YOUNETPO Executive Director Amb. Leo E. Tiah and Projects and Program Manager participated in the stakeholder dialogue as part of activities under the CSO Budget Platform. The CSO Budget Platforms seeks to promote fiscal transparency, accountability, citizens and CSO adequate participation in Liberia’s National Budget Processes. The platform create a space for members organization to participate in budget process raging from budget formation, dudget defense, citizens engagement in to the budget process, budget approval and budget performance tracking.
