Overview
Youth Network for Positive Change -YOUNETPO is a registered and accredited national youth led civil society organization with over 8 years of evidence-based work in youth peace building, human rights and citizens access to justice, HIV/AIDs, climate change, youth capacity development and civic engagements. Since its establishment in 2014, YOUNETPO has initiated several programs to empower youth, women and girls through capacity building initiatives and leadership programs, advocate for equal access to opportunities, fostered political accountability to make elected leaders more accountable and responsive. These programs and projects have benefited over 10,000 Youths between the ages of 10-35 years; we have successfully implemented projects and programs in Montserrado, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Gbarpolu, Bong and Nimba Counties.
YOUNETPO is currently organizing and hosting the Annual Youth Education and Leadership Conference - AYEAL Conference. AYEAL Conference 2023 will bring together the experiences of young people and youth leaders from across Africa that are actively engage in peacebuilding, champions of gender equality, youth entrepreneurs, students, leaders of civil society organizations, community- based organizations, government institutions, international organizations, and faith-based institutions to discuss issues around Education, Health, Democracy, Peace, Security & Climate Change. The Annual Youth Education and Leadership Conference - AYEAL Conference will be held in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County from July 27-29, 2023 and are therefore accepting quotations from registered businesses around Monrovia City. Qualified bidders are required to provide a proposal/quote for the following listed item(s)/service(s) Good (s) for our event. All proposals/quotes should be received on or before June 30, 2023, at 17:00 PM.
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
Bidders are expected to provide T-shirts and also print them for YOUNETPO upcoming event slated for June 27-29, 2023 which will be held in Grand Bassa County. YOUNETPO and the selected vendor will enter into a contractual agreement that will outline key deliverables to be satisfactorily accomplished before payments are made to the vendor as specified in the contract document.
Expected Deliverables
a. T-Shirts color: (Blue)
b. Descriptions/Types of shirts (round neck)
c. T-shirt for 72 persons
1. Specification
Your proposal/quotation must specify:
d. The unit price per T-shirt printing
e. The price per dozens of T-Shirts (sky blue)
f. Provision of printing samples/Style/ designs
g. Any other costs necessary to complete the tasks
2. Quotations must be valid for no less than 30 working days
3. The bid should contain full specifications and prices for each item.
Furthermore, bids should include the following documents and information:
1. Valid Liberian Business Registration Certificate
2. Valid Tax Clearance from LRA including the TIN number
3. Business information (Name, position, location, email, telephone, website)
B. Evaluation Factors
Quotations will be evaluated on an administrative and technical compliance first to determine whether bids received are acceptable or not acceptable. In conducting its evaluation, YOUNETPO may seek information from any source it deems appropriate to obtain or validate information regarding acceptability of Supplier’s quotation. Award will be made to the administratively compliant and technically acceptable bid with the lowest price taking into account the quality of the services to be delivered.
Administrative compliance constitutes compliance with all requirements stipulated in this Request for Quotations including
a) The confirmations requested under “A. Specification” above.
b) Adherence to the requirements for submission of bids as detailed in the last paragraph of this Request for Quotations.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in rejection of the bid.
Administratively compliant bids will be analyzed for compliance with the specifications as provided in the table above. Failure to comply with the specifications may result in rejection of the bid.
The financial offer of administratively and technically compliant bids will be assessed, and the award made to the supplier offering the best price and quality at the discretion of Youth Network for Positive Change.
C. Submission of Quotation
Proposals should be submitted in Soft or Hard Copies addressed to: Charles J. Goll III, Procurement Officer, Youth Network for Positive Change- YOUNETPO, C- 2 9 8 Barchee Community, Watanga Compound , Republic of Liberia and delivered in a sealed envelope. Electronic copies of the bids must be submitted to charles.younetpo@gmail.com CC: positivechange68@gmail.com on or before 17:00 GMT on June 30, 2023 bearing the subject line "Request for Proposal – Provision and Printing of T-Shirts". Quotations that are submitted in other formats or received after the stipulated deadline or with a different subject line will not be considered.
This invitation to submit proposal/quotation does not in any way indulge Youth Network for Positive Change to award any bid nor does it commit YOUNETPO to pay for any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of your bid. Furthermore, YOUNETPO reserves the right to reject any and all bids/quotes at its sole discretion or award only part or no part of a bid.
Safeguarding Children and Code of Conduct
Supplier must adhere to all local and international laws regarding child/children safeguarding. Supplier who uses child labor will not be awarded a contract under this bid. YOUNETPO will carry out a reasonable background check on all suppliers.
